NEXus at the SNRS 36th Annual Conference: Leveraging Health Equity through Nursing Partnerships in Research, Education, and Practice in New Orleans, February 23-25, 2022.

On Wednesday 2/23/22 between 2:15 – 3:45 Central time, Dr. Suzanne Ameringer, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the Florence E. Elliott Professor, Virginia Commonwealth University will be presenting the general session abstract “The Nursing Education Xchange (NEXus): A Successful Nursing Educational Partnership for Doctoral Education.” In its fifteenth year, NEXus is a well-established model of a nursing education partnership that addresses the nursing shortage as well as provides diverse educational experiences for doctoral students. It is an example of how a nursing educational partnership can lead to institutional cost savings through resource sharing.

The abstract authors are Suzanne Ameringer, PhD, RN, FAAN; Beth Mastel-Smith, RN, MD, PhD, FNGNA, Professor at the University of Texas at Tyler and Chair of the NEXus Executive Committee; and Anne Boerner, Project Director for NEXus.
