INFORMATICS

Description:  This cognate was developed to provide students who need informatics content to support their major research focus or to supplement programs of study for students majoring in informatics.  Students must have completed a masters in healthcare or nursing informatics or take one introductory (master’s level) course that provides them core content before taking cognate courses.
Requirements:  Complete one course from each of the three groups.
Number of courses required to complete cognate:   3
Course sequencing;
           Courses are required to be taken in the sequence indicated in the table.
           Courses are recommended to be taken in the sequence indicated in the table.
